SALES ASSOCIATE

Department: Sales Division-Oklahoma City, OK

Reports to: Vice President, Sales-Oklahoma City, OK

Job Objective:

Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close of sale. Develops and implements agreed upon Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the sales area. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company core values.

Job Duties:

A. Strategic Territory Planning
1. Develops and implements a sales strategy for the assigned sales area, including goals and benchmarks
2. Implements and continually evaluates sales strategy for improvement and growth
3. Reports to VP Sales on sales strategy and activities as directed
4. Schedules and effectively participates in prospective client meetings and presentations, both at MTM headquarters and on client premises
5. Schedules and effectively participates in current account maintenance and annual reviews
6. Attends trade shows as directed
7. Effectively networks in the assigned sales area
8. Participates in all designated, sales-related meetings, activities, and webinars
9. Continually works to educate himself/herself about MTM products and programs
10. Ensures assigned iTrack leads are effectively followed up on

Requirements:

A. Productive, aggressive and self motivated
B. Working knowledge of all MTM products, web/IS capabilities, pricing, specifications, order entry, tracking, shipping, and invoicing systems
C. Displays strong leadership and organizational skills
D. Displays strong interpersonal skills and timely and accurate communication
E. Effectively communicates with current and potential customers
F. Effectively encourages, cooperates with, and communicates best practices with MTM Sales Management
G. Works effectively with all members of Administration and sales team
H. Understanding of quality requirements with strong desire to sell a quality product
I. Displays and promotes the image, spirit, and integrity of MTM
J. Four year college degree with some business sales experience preferred.

Specific Objectives:

A. Identify open areas in your territory and recommend strategies to cover
B. Establish written, measurable goals for your territory specific to effect on EBITDA and how they will be achieved
